I'm sure every mama thinks I'm a little crazy when they walk into the studio with their new babes. I look like something straight out of the '80 with my ridiculously high messy bun, leggings, leg warmers, and sweaters. I'm usually preparing the last bits of the set, or pulling out one more prop. Without fail one of my favorite parts of the session is seeing your little ones for the first time; all wrapped up and cozy in all their puffy little car seat layers! They look like little marshmallow kids. Swoon <3 It's like unwrapping a present- slowly, layer by layer, so they stay super sleepy while they get undressed (like tying to nail jello to a tree, might I add). It's the first time I get to see all their details, and without fail, I fall in love all over again. I wanted to eat him right up. I couldn't decided what I loved more- those mile long lashes or perfect lips! sweet bug loved to be swaddled up, so that's exactly what we spent part of the morning doing! If you think he looks cute all wrapped up, check out his sweet baby section! I love having simple, clean set ups that really focus on all the details of your new baby. I know as parents we think we are biased, but I really can validate that. I have never photographed two babies that look exactly alike! Their little hands all curl differently, their sweet little milk bubble lips are cuter every time. Little Frank Anthony was no exception- at a tiny 8 days old he was an absolute dream!
