It's a snowy, cold, quiet day in New Hampshire and I am happily snuggled into every warm lawyer I own. Theres tea on the coffee table, I'm working on my latest cutie pie (Frankie, more on him later!) and it seems like everything around me has been put on pause.
Not the Fed Ex Man! Door bell rings, and per usual, I go flying down the stairs in my P.j.s. typical. Poor fella knows me by name and probably also knows all my p.j.s too. This is exciting stuff! 4:00pm happens to be my favorite time of day for this particular reason; the latest orders are in!
There is something about holding these precious prints, imagining how they will be framed and hung in their new homes, and drinking in the in beauty of a freshly printed album. On this particular day, my heart does a little flip-flop to seeing the brand new signature books arrive...they are GORGEOUS!
They're leather or linen bound, study pages, and luster coated to perfection. The pictures are so crisp and clear you'd think you could pick up that baby and snuggle her! I love thinking about mom and dad seeing their book for the first time- the way mom will probably pick it up so many times to look at her sweet babe, looking at all the ways she has already changed in such a short time. They way her big sister will point to it and tell her grandparents "that's the baby! That's my baby!". Holding this book is so moving to me, knowing that it's going to put a smile on so many peoples face. The idea that I am about to deliver this beautiful book of joyful memories...well, that will make any snowy day a little warmer ;)
